HIGGANUM - Christopher Flanagan, 26, of Higganum, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 at Middlesex hospital surrounded by his family. He was not able to recuperate from the most severe asthma attack possible with both lungs collapsed. He had frequently suffered from asthma attacks his entire life.Chris was born on Dec.15, 1983 and attended Haddam-Killingworth High School. He was employed by Baldwin Lawn Furniture most recently. Chris was lucky to have had more than a handful of very close friends. Our family is especially proud of Chris for having been brave enough to register himself as an organ donor and to that end; three Connecticut people will live healthier and longer lives because of him.Christopher leaves behind parents, Gary and Linda; his brothers and sister, Tim, Mike and Lauren; grandfather, Charles; uncle, Glenn; cousins, Jamie and Tyler Flanagan, and Amanda Bierkan. He is predeceased by grandmother, Theresa Flanagan, all with loving memories.All services will be private as requested by Christopher.
