WILSON-SZABO, Christine Jane December 22, 1953 - October 29, 2008 On October 29, 2008 Jane passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her caring family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Chris, her sister Catherine, mother Loretta, brother Ken, brother-in-law Jerome (Sheila), sister-in-law Michele (Dave), brother-in-law Leonard (Tanya), brother-in-law Jason (Andrea), nieces and nephews Stephanie, Matthew, Daniel, Paul, Sara, Beatrice and Claire plus a multitude of friends. She was predeceased by her father, Douglas. A Memorial Mass will be held in Edmonton on Thursday, November 6, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church 9420-163 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. A Memorial Mass will take place in Toronto on Wednesday November 12, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, 1 Dormington Drive (2234 Ellesmere Road), Scarborough, Ontario. Cremation has taken place in Edmonton. Memorial donations would be appreciated to: Alberta Cancer Foundation, C/O Cross Cancer Institute, Attention: Foundation, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 or to Trans Canada Trail Foundation, 43 Westminster North, Montreal, Quebec H4X 1Y8. Jane's family would like to thank the staff of the Hospice at the Norwood Extended Care Centre for their excellent care of Jane in her last weeks. We are also forever grateful for the friends of Jane who gave so much to help care for Jane and who provided support for us over the last nine months.
