-->Christine Jolly Anderson SPARTANBURG, SC-- Christine Jolly Anderson, 80, of Spartanburg, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2008. Born January 18, 1928, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Shedrick Jolly, Sr. and Nina Belcher Jolly. A graduate of Spartanburg High School and Converse College where she majored in music, she was a private piano teacher for many years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 70 years and pianist for the John Nicholson Sunday School Class for many years. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Dorothy H. "Dot" Jolly of Spartanburg; a niece, Debra Hershey of Phoenix, AZ; three nephews, Ed K. Jolly, Jr. of Spartanburg, A. Shedrick Jolly, III, and Benjamin Jolly and his wife Lori, all of Atlanta, GA; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew. She was predeceased by two brothers, Alvin S. Jolly, Jr. and Edward K. Jolly, Sr. Graveside services will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Heather B. Humphries. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
