Funeral for Christine Eva Walker, 86, of Decatur will be today, Oct. 2, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Nix officiating.Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Walker, who died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at her residence, was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Alabama to Joseph Rufus Glenn and Hortence Iola Roberts Glenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Chester Walker; sister, Annie McDonald; and brother, Arthur Glenn. Survivors include one son, Chester Wayne Walker; and four sisters, Ruth Jones, Lottie Jones, Arlene Howell and Willodean Templeton. Pallbearers will be Gary Templeton, Greg Templeton, Barry Templeton, David Jones, Mike Farish and Marlin Clemons.
