Our beloved daughter and sister, Christine Elizabeth Morrison, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, Dec. 15, 2012. She was 45. Born in Garden City, N.Y., and raised in Naples, Fla., Christy moved to Cumming in 2003. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working in hospitality for 25 years before becoming an L.P.N. through Lanier Technical College and pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at North Georgia College & State University. She was preceded in death by her father, William. She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Judith; fiancé, Al Bond; brother, Andrew and his wife Michelle; niece and nephew, Ava and William (Christy's pride and joy); brother, Liam and his fiancée Anna Drozda; and a host of loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross at redcross.org.
