COX, Christine On December 31, 2002, Mrs. Marguerite Christine Cox of Sherwood Park, passed away at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her loving husband Gerry; one daughter Lynn Marie (Mansel) Davies of Calgary and one son Doug (Karen) Cox of Edmonton; and four grandchildren Benjamin, Mariel, Alison Cox, and Morgan Davies. She also leaves one sister Dr. Linda Loewen (John Campbell) of Nanoose Bay, British Columbia; her niece Dr. Michele Loewen and her nephew Dr. Mathew Loewen both of Saskatoon. Christine was predeceased by her infant son, Jeffrey Harold and her parents, George and Freda Bray. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 6, 2003, 2:00 p.m., at Strathearn United Church (8510-95 Avenue), with Reverend Paul Shaw officiating. A reception will follow. Chris made many dear friends during her life who have been wonderfully supportive during her illness. Her family also wishes to express its gratitude to Dr. Turner and Dr. Follett, and all the caring people on the 3rd floor and in the DCU of the Cross Cancer Institute for their help in her time of need. Many thanks as well to her long-time doctor and friend, Dr. Guy Blais.
