CARROLLTON Christine Blalock Walker, age 94, of Carrollton, died Feb. 4, 2010, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 6, 2010, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Latham officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Cemetery in Pickensville with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruple B. Walker; her parents; her brother, O.T. Blalock; her sister, Sue Sprouse; and her sister-in-law, Mozelle Blalock.Survivors include her daughter, Frances Ann Madison of Vernon, Ala.; her son, Rusty Walker of Carrollton, Ala.; six grandchildren, Kim Price, Kathy Phillips, Keith Lundy, Ken Lundy, Memrie Smith, and Rusty Scott Walker; 12 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.Mrs. Walker was born October 6, 1915, in Millport, Alabama to the late Thomas M. Blalock and Jessie Lou Dean Blalock. She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church, a self employed caregiver and a well known resident of Pickens County.Honorary pallbearers are employees of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home and AseraCare Hospice.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Palmer Home for Children, P.O.
