CARTER, CHERYL LYNN BRANTLEY, 65Gainesville - Cheryl Lynn Brantley Carter, 65. Cheryl Carter went to be with our heavenly Father on April 26, 2013. She was born Feb 13, 1948 in Winter Haven, Fl. Cheryl was predeceased by her mother and one brother. Cheryl and her family moved to Gainesville in May 1992 after her husband was discharged from the USAF. She was on staff at The Rock of Gainesville since October 1992 and ordained as a team pastor in 2000. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Bob Carter, and her three children, Cari Nipper (Michael), Jason Carter (Lori), Josh Carter (Isabel), and seven grandchildren, her father, three brothers, and two sisters.
