Cheryl Annette Smith, 45, Sarasota, died Aug. 6, 2004. She was born July 1, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, and came to Sarasota 32 years ago from there. She worked for Kash n' Karry at Fruitville and Beneva roads. She was a Protestant. Survivors include sisters Vicki L. Penney of Sarasota and Sandy L. Tumelty of Wesley Chapel; and her parents, Vernon R. and Bobbie L. of Sarasota; Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park.
