March 12, 2009 Cheryl Ann Mitchell, 43, of Syracuse, passed away March 12, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born June 18, 1965, in Cortland, NY, and spent her childhood in Oxford, NY. Cheryl was a graduate of Oxford Academy and received her BA in business from SUNY Morrisville. She was employed as a filing application processor for Excellus Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Syracuse. She was a former employee of NBT Bank of Norwich, NY, and Red Apple. She was a member of the Mid-State Antique Stock Car Club. Cheryl was the proud mother of two sons who loved her very much. She was predeceased by one brother, Shawn Going. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Garry and Connie (Caldwell) Manwarren of Zephyrhills, FL; her grandparents, Laurence and Eleanor Caldwell of Cortland, NY; two sons, Daniel Sabines of Oxford, NY, and Christopher Sabines of Syracuse; and her companion, Mark Galster.
