Charlotte Sue (Hewitt) Cox was born in 1946, in Aurora, Missouri, and grew up in nearby Springfield where she graduated from Central High School. She lived in Fort Worth, Texas at the time of her death and was a 40 year resident of north Texas. Loving wife of 45 years to Terry Cox, a native of Springfield, Missouri, she passed away Friday, July 10, 2009, at the age of 62, after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by her four children, William Cox of Watauga, Texas, Robert Cox of Godley, Texas, Michelle Cox Troutt of Keller, Texas, and Sandra Cox Wright of Irving, Texas. She left nine grandchildren, ages 22 to 7, Justin Kirkpatrick, Jessica Cox, Amanda Cox, Jacob Cox, Jolene Cox, Alexander Wright, Emily Wright, Todd Troutt Jr. and Hannah Cox. Her sister, Gail (Hewitt) Davidson, lives in Red River, New Mexico. Her brother, Harold Lee Hewitt, of Springfield, Missouri, preceded her in death. Charlotte loved travel, reading, fishing, country music, family and friends. She was loved by many.
