Funeral service for Charlotte Renee Watkins, 50, were held Monday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City with the Rev. Rodney Davis officiating. Burial took place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Oneonta. She passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Birmingham. Charlotte loved music and her family, especially her granddaughter, Sadie. She was an avid University of Alabama football fan. She is survived by her daughter, Christy Johns of Rainbow City; sons Staff Sgt. Michael Johns of Okinawa, Japan, David Gibson of Lincoln, AL; sisters Sheila (Don) Baisden of Springhill, TN, Sherri Lyons of Mendeville, LA; brothers, Earl (Kim) Peoples of Springville, AL, Ronnie (Connie) of Pell City; Jimmy (Sonim) Peoples of Seoul, Korea; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Isaac, Heaven, Terra, Suzanne, Clinton, Jessice, Amanda, Jasmine, Chrissy, Melissa, and Micah; and best friend and partner, Debbie Yeager of Steele, AL.
