Charlotte Lynn Wilson, age 50, of Aurora passed away on December 22, 2008 after an eighteen-month battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born on May 4, 1958 in Aurora, Missouri. Charlotte graduated from Aurora High School in 1976 and later received her teaching and Master's degree from Southwest Missouri State University. Teaching elementary school at Exeter, Pierce City, and the last ten years at Aurora, Charlotte was blessed in pursuing a career, which was also a passion. She leaves as a legacy, hundreds of students who received the gift of learning from someone who truly loved each and every one of them. Charlotte was a member of the Aurora Fundamental Methodist Church. She and her family benefited greatly from the unselfish love and unending support of Pastor Kelly Johnson, as well as all of the church members, throughout her illness. She is survived by her husband, Johnny R. Wilson; one daughter, Wendy Willcock and her husband, Jeremy; one son, Kyle Wilson and his wife, Brittany; her mother, Jean Conn; two brothers, Mike Conn and Matt Conn and their families. She is also survived by the two joys of her life granddaughters Jacey and Ellie Willcock. Lastly, she is survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Her wonderful loving father Marvin Conn preceded her in death. Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Aurora Fundamental Methodist Church in care the funeral home.
