WILLIAMS , Charlotte Laverne December 19, 1943 - June 8, 2009 Charlotte Laverne Williams passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on Monday, June 8, 2009 at the age of 65 years. Charlotte is survived by her three daughters, Barb (Doug), Brenda (Scott), Bev (David), and nine grandchildren, Krystle, Mitch, Stephen, Shantel, Joel, Bryan, Tiffani, Tristin, and Jaydon as well as three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Tyson and Peightyn. She is also survived by six sisters and a brother, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Charlotte was born in Calgary and lived and worked here for most of her life. Having completed nursing school, Charlotte spent many years working and caring for people in need of her services. Charlotte loved to spend time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed hearing a good joke and having a good laugh. Charlotte loved the countryside as well as the mountains of BC. She decided to retire to the quiet community of Lomond, AB, where she enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Charlotte was a strong, spirited woman, well-liked and respected by those who knew her. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her sisters Jeanette, and Sharon for being with Mom throughout her illness and her final days, also the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Vulcan Community Health Centre for their care and compassion shown to Charlotte and her family. If friends and family so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Vulcan Community Health Centre Palliative Care Committee.
