Charlotte Marceau 1929 - 2013 SPRINGFIELD - Charlotte I. (Lukis) Marceau, 83, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday March 28th 2013 with her loving family at her side. Born in New York, NY to the late Ernest and Charlotte (Lukis) DuBois, she graduated from the former Daycroft High School in Connecticut. She was predeceased by her loving husband, retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Raymond A. Marceau, in 1991 and by her daughter, Elizabeth Wilson in 1998. Charlotte was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, and was devoted to her family. She was a member of the American Kennel Club and the German Shepard Club of Western Mass and she raised and showed German Shepard's over the years as well as Dobermans. She is survived by her three loving children, Charlaine Holwick and her husband Robert of Springfield, James Marceau of Pittsfield, NH and Ralph Marceau of Coral Springs, FL; her son-in-law, Richard Wilson of Illinois; 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grand-children, and 2 great-great grandchildren and by a very dear friend over the years, May Stack of East Longmeadow. Family and friends are invited to meet for calling hours on Wednesday April 3rd, 2013 from 4 - 8 PM at the Hafey Springfield Chapels, 494 Belmont Ave., with a funeral home service to be held at 7 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
