Charlotte Frances Fleming 1924 - 2011 HOLYOKE - Charlotte Frances Fleming died at Baystate Medical Center on October 31, 2011. Ms. Fleming was born in Holyoke Ma on April 26, 1924. She attended school in Holyoke and continued her education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst MA graduating in 1946 with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught school in Holyoke until her retirement in 1989. She loved golf and she was a champion. She is survived by her sister Katherine Jackson, of Nanuet, NY, her niece Arden Eden of Purcellville VA, her niece Melissa Fleming Ellsworth of Poulsbo, WA and her nephew Urban C. Fleming III of West Columbia, SC. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church in Holyoke at 10:00 AM Wed. November 16, 2011 with funeral burial at the convenience of the family at St. Jerome's Cemetery. She was a beloved aunt and sister to her family, and a treasured teacher to the many students she taught through the years. Hobert Funeral Home. Tel. 534-4535.
