Charlie Williams, 69, died July 24, 2010, at Treasure Coast Hospice House. He was born in Olethorpe, Ga., and lived in St. Lucie County since infancy. He was a retired bus driver. He was a member of the 13th Street Church of God in Fort Pierce. He was formerly a member of the New Jersey Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his son, Charlton Louis Williams of Jacksonville; daughters, Tenya Tomese Jackson of Tallahassee, Tonya Lanee Williams-Jones of Lynn Haven; brother, John Henry Williams of Palatka; sisters, Mae Lois Jackson, Mary Alice Belton, Sallie Johnson, all of Fort Pierce, Judy Young and Gloria Pack, both of Port St. Lucie, and Shirley Hines of North Lauderdale; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Patrick; and brothers, Robert Lee Williams, Willie James Williams and Calvin Eugene Williams. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. July 30 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. July 31 at 13th Street Church of God.
