EWING - Charlie Mae Smith-Coleman, 63, of Ewing passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Hopewell.Born in Mobile, Ala. and raised in Birmingham, Mrs. Coleman was a longtime resident of the Trenton, Ewing area. She was employed as a paraprofessional for the Ewing Township Board of Education and St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center as a CNA. Predeceased by her parents, Robert Smith and Mary Alice Knighton and her husband, Charles Coleman Sr. surviving are dad, Alfonzo Knighton Sr.; her children, Everett (Kelli), Zachery and Deon Smith, Charles, Tommy, Brittany, Eugene and Mary Coleman; two sisters, Helen Abrams, Minnie Smith and Brenda Knighton; nieces, Tameka (Noel) Singh, Merri Abrams, Kathy Abrams and Reava Vaughters, nephews, Brenton Vaughters and Sean Mobley; grandchildren, Ashley, Zakir, Al'tariq, Takim and Zanouria Smith, Mia and Charles Coleman III; great- grandchildren, Madison and Kennedy Smith.Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Bethany Evangelical Church, 1125 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618. Interment will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
