CASEY, Charles Wallace “Carl“ - In loving memory of Charles Wallace “Carl“ Casey, 71 years, who passed away Tuesday evening, July 11th, 2006 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Wright) Casey of Worthington. Loving father of Shawn (wife Lisa) of Angus, Sheryl (husband Denis Payment) of Sudbury and Bryan (wife Barbara) of Lively. Cherished grandfather of Sabrina, Chloe, Brodie, Siobhan, Ryley, Kayla and Izabella. Dear son of Theodore and Victoria Casey both predeceased. Dear brother of Leonard Caissie (wife Evelyn) and Urbain Caissy both of Vancouver, Bella Casey of Montreal, Grace (husband Marcel Rivard) of St. Jerome, Gloria (husband John Collette) of Oro-Medonte, Patrick Casey (wife Theresa) of Grand Prairie, Bernie Casey (wife Patricia) of Wahnapitae, William predeceased (wife Hazel of Edmonton), predceased by Irene (husband Charlie Thompson) and Esther (husband Thomas Hennigar). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, and his cat Mittens and dog Daisy. Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, he married Marilyn in Sudbury, in 1966. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for 35 years at C.I.L. and then INCO retiring in 1992 as a Quarter Century Club member. Carl served on the organizing committee of the INCO Maintenance Stag for many years. He was a member of the Beaver Lake Sports and Cultural Club for over 25 years, and he volunteered with the M.S. Society. He had a great sense of humour and a quick wit. He always saw the best in others and was accepting of all. Committed and dependable he was a father to “everyone“. Family was the most important facet of his life, especially his grandchildren. The family would invite friends to the Beaver Lake Community Centre following the service at 3 p.m. Friday. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUENERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Pius X Chuch, Lively, Friday, July 14th, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations to the new Hospice or Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
