Mr. Charles Wesley Williams, 83, of Killen, passed away March 20, 2011, at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was retired and attended Midway Church of Christ.Survivors include stepson, Gary Hammond; stepdaughter, Brenda Hice; grandson, Brian Hammond; niece, Linda Simmons; nephew, Noble Pepper; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by wife, Gertie Williams; parents, Robert Nelson and Ollie Viola Williams; stepson, Lee Hammond; and sister, Betty Pepper.Visitation will be 1:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m., with Frank Richie and Rod Townsley officiating. Burial will be in Barnett Cemetery near Lexington.Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
