Charles Scott Jordan, 33, Glendale, Ariz., and formerly of Sarasota, died Aug. 22, 2004. He was born Dec. 4, 1970, in Aurora, Ill., and graduated from Booker High School in 1989. He worked for Wal-Mart for 16 years and was personnel manager for one of their supercenter stores in Arizona. Survivors include his parents, Chuck and Donna of Glendale; grandparents Wilma of Sarasota and Leon and Pansy Singleton of Sycamore, Ill.; a sister, Kimberly Long of Alamogordo, N.M.; and a brother, Robert of San Antonio, Texas. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at The Tabernacle in Sarasota. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Tabernacle, 4141 Desoto Road, Sarasota, FL 34235.
