FLANAGAN, CHARLES RICHARD The death of Charles Richard Flanagan of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the York Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, April 24th, 2005. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of the late Francis and Katherine (Nelson) Flanagan, and husband of the late Dawn (Wade) Flanagan. Survived by one son, Dana Flanagan and his partner, Joanne Mawhinney of Rothesay, NB; one brother, Joseph (Joan) Flanagan of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife; his parents; one sister, Agnes McLeod and five brothers, John, Robert, Thomas, Harold and Edward. There will be no visitation by request. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Thursday, April 28th, 2005 at 12:00 noon. Monsignor Brian Sheehan as celebrant. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer's Society or to the York Manor Solarium Fund, would be appreciated by the family.
