LEE, CHARLES OSCAR, 92, went to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, member of Larchmont Church of God for over 60 years, and owner of Charles Lee Plumbing Company, retiring because of health reasons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Elizabeth; and son, Jeffrey Alan. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Beverly Lee Insko (Wayne); grandsons, Darren (Angie) and Brian (Tracy); great-grandchildren, Sarah, Samuel, Braden and Brennan; sister, Anna Loretta Lee Eaton; and several nieces and nephews. Charles always had a smile on his face and because of his outgoing personality, he made many long lasting friends. A celebration of life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to his church, Larchmont Church of God. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Doris Werner, Narsia Terry and everyone at Treyton Oak Tower for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Charles and his family during his stay there.
