ObituaryCHARLES MATHEW PETERSGROTON - A graveside service will be held for Charles Mathew ("Matt") Peters, age 37, at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Groton, on Friday June 30 at 11:00 a.m. with the Deacon George Kozak officiating.Matt, the son of Ann and Tom Herson of Ithaca and Harold and Wilma Peters of Groton, passed away at the Hospice Residence of Hospicare and Palliative Care Services of Tompkins County on December 30, 2005.In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his grandmother, Mary J. Walpole, of Ithaca & his siblings, Thomas Edward Herson, Jr. of Marietta, GA; Francis John Peters of Newfield; Julie Ann Herson of Albany; Hal (Angel) Peters of Abilene, TX; Tim Peters of Horseheads; Tammy Narde of Horseheads, Faye (Greg) Overbey of Yorktown, VA; Aggie Peters of Montour Falls; Frank (Linda) Scaglione of Groton; Mike (Becky) Scaglione of Groton; & Nick (Jolene) Scaglione of Groton.
