Charles Lee "Charlie Dollar" Anderson, 60, Bradenton and formerly of Sarasota, died Aug. 13, 2004. He was born July 23, 1944, in Canton, Miss., and came to the area 21 years ago from New York. He lived in Sarasota for 19 years. He was a construction laborer. Survivors include daughters Chandrea Riley of Goodman, Miss., and Crystal and Kenya Hill, both of Sarasota; a son, Shelton Smith of Palmetto; his mother, Mattie Lee of Canton; stepdaughters Pamela Pervis and Erica Hill, both of Sarasota; a stepson, Lindsey Rogers of Sarasota; his companion, Collette Hill of Sarasota; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Sarasota. Burial will be in Mississippi.
