He was a retired barber and a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by two daughters, Shelia Johnson Dyess and Wanda Johnson of Lexington; step daughter, Leslie Maw Reed of Eads; two sons, Ronald and Donnie Johnson of Lexington; two step sons, Andrew (Tammy) Maw of Cordova and Robert Maw of Virginia; brother, Danny Joe Johnson of Aurora, Colorado; eight grandchildren, Mitchell McGill, Johnna Dollins, Elizabeth and Greg Johnson, Russell and Reece Reed, Madison and Drew Maw. Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at Reeds Chapel. Burial to follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Reeds Chapel, 731-968-3643
