Funeral for Charles Irwin Strickland, 59, of Moulton will be Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Moulton Church of Christ with Bill Becker officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Strickland, who died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born Oct. 13, 1947, in Moulton to Charles Crosby Strickland and Trudie DeMasters Strickland. He had owned the Radio Shack in Moulton. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. His parents; and a sister, Charlene Smith, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carolyn Strickland; one son, Michael Strickland of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one daughter, Gina Williams of Moulton; one sister, Kathleen Parker; and four granddaughters, Brittany Hill, Savannah Williams and Taylor Williams, all of Moulton, and Helen Strickland of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Pallbearers will be Carl England, Kenneth Smith, Gary Parker, Jimmy Hill, Randy Bowerman and Edmon Smith.
