Charles Edward Williams, 65, of Greenburgh, New York and formerly of Jarrett, Virginia, died on November 27, 2003. Charles was born in Jarrett, Virginia on January 22, 1938 to Anna Mae and Johnny Edward Williams. Charles retired from Maxwell House as a Mechanic and was a self-employed Maintenance Engineer in Greenburgh. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; brother, John James and sister-in-law, Barbara; daughters: Michelle and son-in-law, Marcus, Carol and son-on-law, Neville; son, Ewart and daughter-in-law, Donna, aunt, Adel Burks and uncle, Jesse Peebles; sister-in-law, pat (wife of late Larry Williams); grandchildren: Kaylah, Kateem, Jamar, Mashamba, Jawara and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 10-11 Friday, followed by Funeral 11 am on Friday, December 5, 2003 at Union Baptist Church, 31 Manhattan Avenue, White Plains, NY 10607, Phone: (914) 948-6439, followed by Burial on December 9, 2003 at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Emporia, Virginia 23847.
