OKEECHOBEE - Charles C. Perkins, age 77, of Okeechobee, passed away, Sept. 14, 2011, in the Veteran's Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Fla. He was born Feb. 9, 1934, in Wilkesboro, Pa. He proudly served our Country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Moose, VFW, American Legion Post # 308, and the DAV. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
