LYON, Charles Alexander Age 86, passed away April 16, 2008 peacefully at his home. A 1948 graduate of Bowling Green Business University, a veteran Navy Pilot of WWII and member of Woodmont Baptist Church, he enjoyed golf, reading, bridge, crosswords and bird watching. Mr. Lyon is survived by his wife of 56 years, Adine Foster Lyon; sons, Charles Alexander Lyon, Jr. and Andrew Foster Lyon; grandchildren, Spencer Lyon, Tyler Lyon, Becky Candino, Emily Bradley, John Bradley and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, in Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton's Dignity Hall, with Dr. John Roebuck and Dr. Bert Dyson officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
