POTVIN, Cecile - At the St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Cecile Marie (Giroux) Potvin; formerly of First Street East; in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Leo Potvin. Dear daughter of the late Arquila Giroux and the late Ella (Parisien) Giroux. Dear sister of Rene Giroux (Stella) of Cornwall, Albert Giroux and Leo Giroux (Therese) both of Wendover, Maurice Giroux (Helene) of Gatineau, Quebec, Aime Giroux of Ottawa, Laurette Gladu and Jeanne Lebrun both of Cornwall and Irene Mercier of Wendover. Predeceased by three brothers, Henri, Lucien and Aurele Giroux and by four sisters, Annette Fortier, Marie Tessier, Rita Seguin-Trudeau and Aline Rail. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, February 4, 2008 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Felix de Valois Church at 11 a.m. Spring interment, Nativity Parish Cemetery. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Monday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
