SOUTHINGTON - Cecil P. Williams, 90, of Hobart St., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at HCC Bradley Campus. He was the husband of Alice (LaButis) Williams.Cecil was born on Feb. 20, 1920 in Goodwell, Okla. and was the son of the late Cecil C. and Daisy (Kemp) Williams. He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Cecil had worked for N.Y. Telephone (Verizon) as an engineer and was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church.Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children, a daughter, Barbara Heuer, of Southington, sons, Warren Williams, also of Southington and Richard Williams, of Norwich; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m., directly at St. Dominic Church 1050 Flanders Road.
