TUSCALOOSA Cecil H. Jackson, age 82, of Tuscaloosa, died Jan. 24, 2009, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Chapel with Tony Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Jackson.Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Smith, Sharon Morrison, and Anita Boyette; sons, Rod Jackson, Ray Jackson, Larry Jackson, and Donnie Jackson; 16 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Sonny Cook, Johnny B. Falls, Junior Dunn, Cody Jackson, Dewey Falls, and Henry Harless.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
