Untitled CECELIA (C.C.) DIANE BROWN AUGUST 13, 1947 -JANUARY 18, 2010 C.C. Brown was called home on January 18, 2010 to join her family members after a long bout with cancer. She was raised on Sanders Beach in Pensacola, FL. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. C. C. was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence R. Brown; mother, Helen Holifield Brown; son, Paul Brown, Jr.; brothers, Buddy Brown and Christopher Brown; and sister, Alycia Brown Graf. She is survived by her daughter, Paula D. Brown; grandchildren, Shavon Sutton, Anthony Sutton, Tiffany Sutton, and Tracy Adcock; brothers, Larry Brown, Jr. and John Brown; sisters, Jenny Brown, Margie Brown, Helen LaJaunie (Dickie), Martha Parfait (Lawrence), and Mary "Baby" Brown; sisters of the heart, Sharon Egee, Betty Bowers, and Mary Kay Helms; and a host of nieces and nephews. C.C. was more than just a sister to her siblings; she was also like their mother. Her younger sisters often called her "Momma." She enjoyed dancing at "The Den" on Sanders Beach during her teenage years with her family and friends. She will be greatly loved and missed by everyone that was fortunate enough to have had her in their life. Special thanks to Jenny and Baby for being there when she needed them. C.C. wanted to especially thank her cousin, Sharon Egee, for the unconditional love and friendship throughout her life. God Bless. A mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church on Saturday, January 30, 2010 with a memorial service following at 12:00 p.m. at Trahan Family Funeral Home. Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lawrence Parfait, Jack Mandel, Glen Jackson, Eddie Egee, Nick Van Hoosen, Chad Hayes, Brandon Hayes, Tony Bowen, Blake Bowen, and Anthony Sutton.
