Cathy N. Johnson LYMAN, SC-- Catherine Amelia Norton (Cathy) Johnson, 66, of 193 Green Acres Street, died Sunday, September 18, 2011, at home. A native of Durham, NC, she was a daughter of the late John Allen and Lucille Owens Norton, a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired head teller for Palmetto Bank. Surviving is her husband, John Roland Johnson of the home; two sons, Tony C. Johnson of Lyman and Jason E. Johnson of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Spenser C. Johnson of Lyman and Shawna Johnson of Spartanburg; and one great-grandchild, Jessie D. Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Norton; and a sister, Doris Norton. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Harold C. Johnson. The family is at the home. Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary. com.
