CARTER, Cathryn Frances Resting peacefully with her beloved Phillip and daughter Janet. Cathryn will be remembered for her love of music and dedication to family. Teaching, both privately and in public schools, Cathryn was choir director at Emmanuel and St. Timothy's for thirty years, as well as active in various music groups. After her massive stroke in 1999, Cathryn, or Kay as known in her youth, learned to walk again and reacquire some speech. While no longer able to read music, she continued enjoying concerts at the NAC, dining out, and playing some melodies from memory. In memory of a kind and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. - With our Love and Respect, Warren and Hilda.
