Catherine Marie Hoffman, 91, died Aug. 11, 2005, in Fort Pierce. She was born in Bridgeton, N.J., and lived in Fort Pierce since the early 1970s. Before retirement, she was a registered pediatric nurse at Millville Hospital, Millville, N.J. She was the past president of the St. Anastasia Catholic Women's Club, Deanery board member, Diocese board member, past president of American Legion Post 82 in Millville, and past president of Whispering Creek Women's Club. Survivors include her nieces, Kathleen McGowan of Rockaway, N.J., and Judithann Stack-McGowan of Boise, Idaho; and nephew, Thomas P. McGowan Jr. of Rockaway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hoffman. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16, with a Rosary service at 6 p.m. at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 17 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
