LEE Catherine M. "Kit" Lee, 91 years old, a longtime resident of Ansonia and Shelton, died May 9 at Gardner Heights Health Center in Shelton. She was born October 15, 1917 in Hoboken, N.J., daughter of the late Peter Wallace Miller and Nellie Smith Miller. She worked as an inspector for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford. Kit was a former member of the Huntington Congregational Church, where she had served as superintendent of Sunday School and as cub scout leader. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Laura Cournoyer. Kit is survived by four children, Valerie Cournoyer and her husband, David of Seymour, Deirdre King and her husband, Frederick Jr. of Oxford, and Dwight and Mark Lee, both of Florida. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Benjamin and Samuel Cournoyer, Fred King III and his wife, Erin, Catherine Marganski and her husband, Michael, Alden, Jacklyn and Matthew Lee; and four great-grandchildren, Christopher and Ian Marganski and Cameron and Kelsey King. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 10 a.m. from Jenkins-King Funeral Home, (jenkinskingfh.com) 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, with Dr. Craig T. McClellan officiating. She will be buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Friends may call on Wednesday, 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kit's memory may be made to the Connecticut Hospice of Branford, 100 Double Beach Road, 06405.
