Carpenter Lee, age 53, of 2640 Cheyenne Drive passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Nov. 5, 2014. He was retired from Owens Corning, a member of Sandy River Masonic Lodge and attended Woodward Baptist Church. Earl Carpenter Lee was the son of the late George Earl and Mary Alice Wagers Lee. He is survived by sons, Jonah Lee of Chester and Merritt Kee of Richburg; daughters, Amanda Lee and Jessica Lee, both of Chester; brothers, George and John Robert "Bobby" Lee, both of Blackstock; and four grandchildren, Trenton Bowser, Preston Peoples, Halle Kee and Gavin Kee. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Katherine Carpenter and Lillian Keisler. The visitation for Carpenter will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, at Pollard Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be conducted by Pastors Keith Hinson and Don Etters at 3 p.m. Sunday at Woodward Baptist Church. Carpenter will be laid to rest at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Blackstock.
