Catherine L. Williams of Owego Catherine L. Williams, 86, of Owego, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Catherine was born May 8, 1920 in Wysox, Pa., to the late Frank and Willetta (McCuen) Williams. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two daughters, Bonita Relyea and Juanita Swartz; grandson, David Relyea, Jr.; two great-grandsons, Matthew and Michael; three brothers, Charles Welty, Joseph Densmore, Frank Williams. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Shirley Relyea, Vestal, Diane McIntyre, Campville, Larry and Roberta Relyea, Newark Valley, Daniel and Betty Relyea, Michigan, David and Cheryl Relyea, Tioga Center; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Howard Wheeler, Owego, Frances and Delmer Padgett, Owego, Alice Mosher, Owego; several nieces and nephews. Catherine worked for Lourdes Hospital, Meals on Wheels, Owego, and retired from Endicott-Johnson. She enjoyed Bingo, family gatherings, road trips to summer fairs. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family sends grateful thanks to the staff at Wilson Memorial Hospital and Hospice at Lourdes. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, with the Rev. Glenn Seaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Catherine L. Williams' memory to Hospice at Lourdes, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
