Catherine L. Goodwin Graveside service for Catherine L. Goodwin, 83, of Decatur was to be today, Jan. 2, 2004, at 3:30 p.m. at Burningtree Cemetery with the Rev. Mitch Smith officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.Visitation was Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Goodwin died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at her home. She was born Oct. 16, 1920, in Lawrence County to Arnold L. Terry and Elizabeth Jeffreys Terry. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church. Mrs. Goodwin was preceded in death by her husband, Howard I. Goodwin. Survivors include one daughter, Ann “Bloss” Nix of Decatur; two sons, John L. Goodwin of Decatur and Michael L. Goodwin of Hartselle; three brothers, John Terry of Crump, Tenn., Felton Terry of Hartselle and Jeffers Terry of Trinity; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were to be her grandsons and nephews.
