MANCHESTER -- Catherine H. "Kay" Fleming, 84, died Aug. 25, 2008, at Hanover Hill Healthcare.She was born Dec, 11, 1923, in Claremont, to Timothy and Catherine (Sears) Keane. She was a graduate of Manchester High School Central in 1941, and Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in 1944.She served many years as a registered nurse and later worked several years at Educare Day Care in Goffstown. She was a member of the Catholic Nurses Association.She was a communicant of St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester.IN HIS LIFE: She was predeceased by a her brother, Timothy Keane, in 1988; and grandson, Timothy Fleming, in 1991.She is survived by her loving family, including seven children, James J. Fleming and his wife, Lisa, of Windham, Stephen K. Fleming and his life-partner, Pete Letendre of Manchester, Mark K. Fleming of Manchester, Bryan M. Fleming and his wife, Jeanne, of Tinley Park, Ill., Katherine E. Klein and her husband, Bill, of Bedford, John T. Fleming and his wife, Debbie, of Manchester, and Peter J. Fleming of Manchester; six grandchildren, John, Caitlin, Collin, Mackenzie, Mitchell, and Danielle Fleming; a brother, Cornelius Keane of Manchester; three sisters, Sister Carolyn Keane O. Carm., of South Boston, Mass., Winnie Doherty, of Columbus, Ohio, and Helen Davidson, of Rutland, Vt.; and many nieces and nephews.SERVICES: Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets, Manchester.
