CATHERINE GILBERT WEST MELBOURNE Catherine Skip Gilbert, 71, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008. Catherine was born in Syra cuse, New York. She came to Brevard County in 1966 from Syracuse. She loved boating and fishing on the St. Johns River, reading ad puzzles. Catherine is survived by her husband of 41 years, George; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark B. and Suzan and George E. II and Susan Gilbert; daugh ter and son-in-law, Susan J. and Scott Adkins; grandchildren, Zachary, Elizabeth, Danielle, Mia, Cody and Rob; and a step- sister, Barbara Blake. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Janu ary 11th, at the Brownlie Max well Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 12th, in the funeral home chapel.
