CATHERIN E ELLEN RYAN Catherine Ellen "Kitty" Ryan, 89, a long time resident of Barefoot Bay, FL, died unexpectedly April 16, 2006 at Palm Rehabilitation and Health Care, Palm Bay, FL. She was born July 3, 1916 in New York, New York. Mrs. Ryan worked in the Banking industry as a Bookkeeper. She was a member, and a Eucharist Minister at St. Luke's Catholic Church, and a member of the St. Luke's Womens Guild, Barefoot Bay, FL; she was a past-president of the Knights of Columbus; a member of the Irish- American Club and New York Club both of Barefoot Bay, FL; she was a past President of the Rosary Altar Society and was a member and Secretary at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Patchogue, NY. Surviving are daughter, Ellen Ryan and her long time companion, Vincent of Highland Beach, FL; sons, Daniel Ryan of Barefoot Bay, FL; Kevin E. and his wife, Kathleen Ryan of Pennington, NJ; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Ryan. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., and 6-8 p.m., April 19, 2006 at the Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., April 20, 2006 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Barefoot Bay, FL with Reverend Patrick O' Carroll celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Palm Bay, FL.
