Catherine Elizabeth Smith, 92, Sarasota, died Aug. 13, 2004. She was born June 2, 1912, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Sarasota in 1980 from England. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Kensington Park Baptist Ladies Circle, the Caledonian Society (Bonnie Lassies), and was a 10-year volunteer at The Pines. She was a member of St. James Weslyan Church in Sarasota. Survivors include a son, David S. Services were Aug. 20 at St. Peters Church, Onchan, Isle of Man, where Douglas Crematorium was in charge.
