QUINLAN, Catherine Elizabeth (Ryan) - Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Motherhouse in North Bay on Friday morning, December 17, 2004 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband, Clifford Charles Quinlan who died on July 8, 1971 in Wabush, Labrador, her parents, Tom and Elizabeth (Fitzmaurice), Ryan, her two sons Clifford Joseph and Cyril Quinlan, her daughter Rita Quinlan, her brother Peter Ryan and her sister, Sister St. Christopher CSJ. She is survived by her daughters, Sister Gertrude Quinlan CSJ of North Bay and Elizabeth Piercey (Ford) of Pasadena, Newfoundland, sister-in-law Mary Ryan of Toronto, daughter-in-law Evelyn Quinlan of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, grandchildren, Greg (Kelli) and Brian Follett, Troy (Leta) and Tim (Angelina) Pearson, Nancy Koch (Joe) and great-grandchildren, Ashley and Lauren Follett, Ashton and Bryce Follett, Tommy Koch, Chelsey Follett and Kathryne Pearson. Also mourning her loss are Patricia Potvin of Montreal, The Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie and her many friends across the country. She was a member of the Pro-Cathedral Parish and a member of the CWL for over 25 years and more recently attended Holy Name Parish. In her youth Kay was an avid speed skater and hockey player. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Special prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Daffodil Lodge, Sudbury or The Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste.
