JOHNSON _ Cassandra Kathleen March 9th, 1994 - December 12th 2006 We are deeply saddened to announce the tragic passing of Cassandra Kathleen Johnson. Cassandra, 12, lived in North Delta and perished in a house fire on December 12, 2006. The fire also claimed the life of her sister Carmen. Cassandra was born on March 9, 1994 in Comox, BC. She will be sadly missed by her Mother, Willie-Jean Johnson (Ian Touchet), her Father, David Millham (Dori Heckert), brothers, Stuart, Christopher and Michael, sister, Allison, grandfather, Albert Johnson, uncles, Peter, Christopher, Robert and Michael, and many relatives and friends. Also left to mourn are her best friends Kayla McKenna and Craig White. Cassandra was a grade 7 student at Chalmers Elementary and was involved in Girl Guides and North Delta Softball. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 - 72nd Avenue, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Johnson Family Trust Fund at any Envision Credit Union branch, account number 293654. Donations will be used to help set up a scholarship in memory of Cassandra and Carmen. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at VGH.
