CARRIE GENEVABROWN, 86Homemaker AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Carrie Geneva Brown, age 86, a resident of Auburndale, FL., passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residential Center in Auburndale due to respiratory failure. Mrs. Brown was born April 30, 1921 in Cordele, GA. to Charles Delamar and Carrie Emma (Godwin) Pate. Mrs. Brown was a resident of Auburndale since 1967 coming from Orlando, FL. She was a homemaker and was a charter member of the New Life Baptist Church in Auburndale. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Marshall Brown. Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving family: 1 daughter: Marshal Ann (Terry) Tuson of Lakeland, FL., 1 son: James Burney (Joyce) Brown of Richmond, VA., 2 brothers: Hardy (Bonnie) Pate of East Point, GA., Reggie Pate of Irmo, S.C., 1 sister: Bernice (Marshall) Chatham of Fayetteville, GA., 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the New Life Baptist Church, 380 State Road 559, Auburndale, FL. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 A.M.
