HomemakerLAKELAND -- Mrs. Carrie Louise Brown of Lakeland died of natural causes associated with old age Monday (Dec. 5, 2005) at Hawthorne Inn. She was 94.Born in Capshaw, Ala., on Nov. 2, 1911, she came to Lakeland from Centre, Ala., in 1937. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Griffin Baptist Church.Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Brown. She is survived by her sons, Bill Brown, Jimmy Brown, both of Lakeland, Harold Brown, Saltville, Va.; daughters, Shirley Glass, Ocala, Barbara Watkins, Linda Nix, both of Lakeland; 32 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Griffin Baptist Church. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Lanier Funeral Home.
