Carrie Belle Jackson Brown - SAVANNAH - Carrie Belle Jackson Brown entered eternal rest on Tuesday December 30, 2008 at Candler Hospital. She was born in Savannah, GA, the daughter of Henry and Corine Walker. She was educated in Chatham County public schools and she was a retired secretary. She was a member of the Temple of Glory Community Church and a member of the Daughters of Tabitha Ministries. She is survived by husband, Kenneth Brown; two daughters; Vernessa (Obie) Lucky and Natasha (Dairen) Maxwell, all of Savannah, GA, one brother; Charles (Betty) Walker of Poughkeepsie, NY, three sisters; Virginia (Cornelius) Smith, Barbara (James) Holmes all of Savannah, GA, Alice (James) Law of Pompano Beach, FL, aunts; Hosea Rooks of Pompano Beach, FL, Nellie Wallace of Gainesville, GA, Carrie Garner of Waycross, GA, four grandchildren; Obie Lucky Jr., Marcus Lucky, Shaniqua Maxwell, Nyeisha Maxwell, a great-granddaughter; Oberia Lucky, a God sister; Joyce Jones, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday January 3, 2009 at the Temple of Glory Community Church, 1105 Stiles Ave., Bishop Matthew Odum, Officiating. Interment: Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
